Since 1978, Hilary Supplies has brought UK foot health professionals the finest instruments and foot care products from Germany. Sole UK importer. Supplied to the profession only. Chosen because they are the best available, not because they are the cheapest.
We are a family business in Leicestershire. We supply the UK’s major podiatry wholesalers, and we sell directly to podiatrists, foot health practitioners and the students learning the profession. We do not supply pharmacies or the general public.
In 1978, British foot care lagged behind Europe. The tools and treatments available to UK practitioners were not as good as those being made across the Channel. Hilary Supplies was founded to close that gap, importing the best chiropody products Germany had to offer and putting them in the hands of the practitioners who needed them.
More than forty years on, the UK market is the opposite of bare. It is flooded, with options of every quality. Our approach has not changed. We still go looking for the best.
Most suppliers compete on breadth of product. We do the opposite. We carry a small, dedicated range and stock only what we believe is the finest available.
That focus runs through everything we sell. Our instruments are handmade in Solingen, Germany, named The City of Blades, from steel hard enough to hold an edge for years yet flexible enough for a nipper’s blades to flex on the cut and keep a clean cutting line. They are not the cheapest instruments you can buy. They are the ones you will still be using long after cheaper tools have been thrown away. We are the sole UK importer, and we sell them direct, exclusively.
Alongside the instruments sits the Laufwunder range from Lütticke in Meinerzhagen, Germany – Mykored for fungal nail and skin infections and a range of professional creams and balms for moisturising, cooling, warming, refreshing, reducing skin thickness, and for treating cracked heels. None of it is sold over the counter. It comes only from foot professionals, which is where we keep it.
